Medtronic MiniMed Quick-set infusion set, is easy to use and comfortable. This device has a soft cannula, hypoallergenic tape and can be inserted easily even in hard to reach areas. This makes it a good choice for adults with an average to large build and children. The 29G is the thinnest needle available. If the Quick-serter insertion device is used, then a one handed 90 degree insertion maybe possible. The Quick-set infusion set provides the convenience of a disconnect at the infusion site and a pre-attached adhesive for a discreet, low profile design.
Features of Sure-T 29G
- The Sure-T is inserted manually and has two adhesive pads to provide extra protection against needle dislodging.
- 90-degree steel needle insertion.
- Available in either 6mm, 8mm or 10mm steel needle.
- All MiniMed infusion sets tubing and reservoirs are designed with a unique MiniMed connection for a more secure insulin delivery. It is recommended to change your Sure-T tubing and needle every 24 to 48 hours
