Hirudoid cream contains MPS (mucopolysaccharides) which is similar to the body’s naturally occurring MPS found in the dermis layer of skin. Your skin’s healing capability rely on the presence of MPS in the tissue. MPS accelerates healing in the following ways:

• Improves blood flow to the area
• Promotes tissue regeneration by increasing collagen and elastin fibres in the connective tissue matrix
• Improves moisturising capacity of the skin by increasing the hyaluronic acid content
• Accelerates the absorption of bruises
• Reduces swelling and inflammation

This results in healing benefits for not only bruises but scars, sprains & different inflammatory conditions of the veins

Usage Directions

Apply to the affected area once or twice a day and massage gently into the skin until absorbed.

Ingredients

Heparinoids (mucopolysaccharide polysulfuric acid ester) bovine 3mg/g.  

Contains 2mg/g Hydroxybenzoates as preservative.

Warnings

Always read the label & use only as directed. For external use only. Do not smoke or go near naked flames while using this product – risk of severe burns. Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings etc) that has been in contact with this product burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not totally remove it. Not to be used on large areas of skin, broken skin, sensitive areas of skin or mucous membranes. Not to be used in individuals with a known sensitivity to any active or inactive component of the formulation. Not to be used in children under 5 years of age.
