Use in Pregnancy:
Check with your pharmacist or doctor if you are pregnant, likely to become pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to breastfeed.
Pediatric use:
Do not give Allertine to a child under the age of 12 years. The safety of Allertine and how well it works has not been studied in children under the age of 12 years.
Effects on the ability to drive or use machines:
Albertine is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or use machines. However, every patient is different so you should check how Allertine affects you before driving or operating machinery.
Possible side effects:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible if you do not feel well while taking Allertine. All medicines can have side effects. Do not be alarmed by the following lists of side effects. You may not experience any of them. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you notice any of the following and they worry you: headache, drowsiness, dizziness, mild stomach upsets such as stomach pain, belly pain, nausea or diarrhoea, tiredness, fast or irregular heartbeat, ringing in the ears & vertigo. These are mild side effects of Allertine. This medicine may not be right for you. Read the label before purchase. Follow the directions for use. Incorrect use could be harmful. If symptoms persist talk to your health professional. Active Ingredients:
Each tablet contains 20 mg of bilastine.
Other Ingredients:
Microcrystalline cellulose, Sodium starch glycollate type A, Colloidal anhydrous silica, Magnesium stearate
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older. Take 1 tablet daily on an empty stomach, swallowed whole with water (an empty stomach means taking Allertine one hour before or two hours after intake of food or fruit juice).
