Seresto collar for cats works by releasing its active ingredients in controlled, low doses, allowing your cat to stay protected for 8 months from fleas and ticks. The collar repels and kills ticks & fleas through simple contact, which means they don’t have to bite your cat before they fall off and die. This means there is a reduced risk of blood loss, pain, irritation and transmission of infections.
The Seresto collar is odourless and controls flea allergy dermatitis and reduces the danger of transmission of flea-borne disease. Within 24 hours of applying the collar, flea infestation comes under control and 98% existing fleas are killed.
How it works
Seresto contains two active ingredients, imidacloprid and flumethrin, that are released in low doses and spread throughout your cat’s skin and fur from head to tail. The collar creates an invisible layer of protection that kills fleas and ticks that come in contact with your cat.

Usage directions
Remove the Seresto collar from the pouch. Remove any remaining plastic connectors on the inside of the collar.
Put the collar around your cat’s neck and insert the loose end into the two loops. Cut off any extra collar length, leaving about 2 cm of the loose end beyond the second loop.
Make sure the collar is neither too tight nor too loose. Ideally, two fingers should fit between the collar and your cat’s neck.ÂÂ
