Imodium Advanced contains two active ingredients that provide relief from acute diarrhoea and associated gas-related symptoms such as bloating, cramps and wind. It delivers relief in from diarrhoea in two different but equally important ways. The first ingredient, Loperamide helps restore normal bowel function and your body’s natural rhythm

The second active ingredient simethicone, works on the gas bubbles by helping release them thus reducing the abdominal discomfort and wind that’s associated with diarrhoea.

Usage Directions 

Chew 2 tablets initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose unformed stool as needed.

No more than 4 tablets in 24 hours. Use no longer than 48 hours.

Store below 25°C, protect from light

Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg, Simethicone 125mg

Warnings

Use only as directed & always read the label. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if: – You are pregnant or breastfeeding. – You have a fever, severe stomach pain, blood in your stools, or on- going medical condition affecting the bowel. Do not use: – If perforated section is broken or missing, or blister foil is broken. – If you are under 12 years of age. – If you have previously had a rash or allergic reaction to products containing loperamide. – If you have a medical condition where constipation should be avoided.  If diarrhoea persists beyond 48 hours, seek medical advice as soon as possible. – Drink plenty of fluid and electrolyte depletion may occur. If dehydration is suspected seek medical attention.
